You're definitely responsible for me finally catching up with Blue Collar.

The above is a link to my new Top 50 list of films, listed on IMDB.  Check it out!

Isak Borg: I'll keep that in mind.

That movie just makes me happy. Is it on your list this year?

Yea, I'm going with the list I made back in November. :)

I missed this. I am particularly found of that rendition and am so glad you submitted it. Now, how do we get other people to vote for Jane Eyre? :)

On a case by case basis.

We must devise strategems for each particular Filmspotter. Exploit every weakness, appeal to every sensibility. First though we'll spend three years running a campaign against the film. We'll create multiple aliases that quietly and collectively make slights against the movie. Give it the impression of not being particularly noteworthy at every opportunity. We'll maintain this long enough that people forget the film was even made, and if they do remember it they'll remember what a bad reputation it had.

Then in phase two we'll begin to undermine the credibility of our alternate aliases in the eyes of filmspotters by extolling the virtues of films we know (through surveillance) to be disliked by particular users. This will sow the seeds of doubt about everything our alternate aliases have said. Jane Eyre will not be mentioned during this phase lest our ploy be discovered.

In phase three our alternate aliases will self-destruct and disappear from the boards. That is when we will swoop in and begin dropping screenshots of the film here and there. Subtle reminders of the films existence and exquisite cinematography. We must act as though we ourselves are also just rediscovering the films existence. "Oh, I never realized how good looking this film was" or "hey isn't this the same director as did True Detective on HBO?" and so forth. We will thus kindle a small ember of interest in the minds of filmspotters. "Oh yes, I remember that film not being well thought of... but who was it that said that? It sure looks good". Suddenly a few people will discover it and enjoy thsmelves pleasant surprise, and have the glow of being early adopters. The enthusiasm will spread. The film will transform from an unremarkable film, to overlooked, to underappreciated, to hidden gem, to gem, to filmspotting darling!

Or we just hack everyone's netflix account and send it to them.

I feel like I should watch that one, but I think I'd rather watch movies based on things I haven't experienced yet than see an adaptation of something I already enjoyed.

I mean, if 'noff's brilliantly evil plan didn't convince you, I don't know what will. The promise of a naked Fassbender? I know he's not naked in this one, but just go with it.
