ok, must watch Crocodile now.  I think one of the few Kim Ki-duk films I haven't seen and I am pretty sure it is on Hulu

I have seen eleven and the first one is at number 17...Barely know about some of the others.

Glad to see The Piano Teacher and Whatever Works on there though. funniest Woody Allen in ages.

Have you thought about participating in the Top 100 club ?

92. The Woman in the Dunes ( Hiroshi Teshigahara, 1964)
98. Rear Window  ( Alfred Hitchcock, 1954)

This is where your list intersects with my own top 250, but we have a lot of other mutual favorites too:

3. Vagabond (Agnes Varda, 1985)
4. The virgin spring (Bergman, 1960)
6. Nostalghia (Tarkovsky, 1983)
14. The death of Mr. Lazarescu (  Cristi Puiu, 2005)
24. Dogtooth ( Yorgos Lanthimos, 2009)

72. Gabbeh  (  Mohsen Makhmalbaf, 1996)
75. Still life ( Sohrab Shaheed Salles, 1974)
81. Santa Sangre  ( Jodorowsky, 1989)
85. Black Cat, White Cat ( Emir Kusturica, 1998)
89. Landscape in the Mist  (  Theo Angelopoulos, 1988 )
91. Through the Olive Trees (  Abbas Kiarostami, 1994)
93. 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days ( Cristian Mungiu, 2007)
99. Red Desert ( Michelangelo Antonioni, 1964)
100. Mamma Roma ( Pasolini, 1962 )

I find it very interesting that you chose Carne over I Stand Alone.  And Live Flesh is an unusual pick for Almodovar.

tamaro-- I've got your #2 sitting in my computer, ready to roll right now.  I've been looking forward to it for a while, but the only thing I know is that it's on a lot of lists.  We'll see how it goes.
