My wife and I just watched the live action BatB, and she thinks it's much better than the original, but I go for the original, even though I like a number of additions of the live action (LeFou!).  DH, cast the deciding vote for us!

You guys must have been hitting the sauce all afternoon if you see any possibility of the remake being anywhere near as good as the animated version. I mean, I like it, but damn son, you cray.

Mostly populist

Dang. Do I have to start voting for racists now?

Anywhere else in my life I would be considered a highbrow snob but here I am the weird guy who likes the shooty movies.

Tier 3

Beauty and the Beast - Gary Trousdale and  Kirk Wise (1991)
Letterboxd lists the 2017 live-action adaptation. I guess it is by mistake but we are a little confused up here, still.

Thank you for spoting this, I corrected the Lestterboxd list.

Typically fun presentation! There's a few films in there for me. Of that I'm sure.

Gummo is the only one in your Top 10 I haven't watched - and no, I will still not touch it.

Love the new additions. Handmaiden, Ex Machina, Nightcrawler! And there are so few here who give The Big Short the appropriate amount of love.

But how are you going to understand my childhood?
