Haven't tried yet, but want to.  The stuff they showed at Comic Con was really impressive.  I'd recommend seeing this material if you could as its different then what they showed at the Con and is sure to be impressive.

I learned my lesson, I'm never buying tickets early after the horrors of Spider-Man 3.

No purchase involved here.

I don't know if I even want to see a trailer for this one, let alone 20 minutes of it. Just give it to me full on.

The site was down from 3 till a few minutes ago.  there is an alternate site that was open accidentially it seems early this morning and was easier to get thru to to get tickets once it opened back up in the afternoon.

I got 3 pairs at different times of the day but have yet to get a confirmation email for any of them.

I basically feel the same way, seems like a waste of time just to see how things are shaping up for a film that is only a few months away from release, even if it is free and in IMAX 3-D. I've mostly even given up on playing game demos until a week or so before release. It just seems like a bit waste of time when waiting is hardly that difficult. Besides, then I'll find myself, after twenty minutes, potentially saying, "That's it? I have to wait even longer to see how everything ends?" Then I'll be pissed off, caught up in hype, and impatient. Of course there's always the chance that I do not like the stuff either, but for a film like Avatar, something I will likely see regardless simply because of the spectacle, I do not want to take the expectation that I will hate it into the film either.

I terribly enjoy being impatient and caught up in the hype.  Otherwise there's just boredom.
