Fight Club is the one that sticks out the most to me.

This is the WORST endings thread not the best ending thread.
I just thought it was a stupid way to end the movie. Made no sense.

I'm sure I could think of worse but I can't be bothered at the moment.

1.High Tension (Switchblade Romance)
2.The Village
3.War of the Worlds (Spielberg version)

more later...

2.The Village

Oh ya this sucked SO bad. It would be high on my list. This should really be called the M. Knight Shyamalan Memorial list.

I'd be tempted to include the ending to the original War of the Worlds.  Speilberg's didn't bother me as much because his movie wasn't as good through that point.  The ending was better than all that crap in Tim Robbins' basement.

I agree that the War of the Worlds ending is weak, but it doesn't bother me 'cause I actually really liked the movie otherwise. Tim Robbins didn't even bother me, weird eh?

The A.I. ending is great.

Really hated The Mist though.

The Village has a perfect ending to a very solid movie. It's so misunderstood.

So much talk of of Spielberg and yt no mention of Minority Report?
I also remember really not getting into the post-island stuff in Cast Away.

The A.I. ending is great.
I hated it so much, it made me so angry, I was furious the whole walk home. I had to stop for onion rings to calm myself down.
