I will see The Village someday ("Don't!" "Do!"), so thank you all for continuing to talk around spoilers in this thread.

I also remember really not getting into the post-island stuff in Cast Away.

Oh another great nomination. If there was a top 5 for most ham-fisted metaphors Cast Away would win hands down.

It's a thread about endings. I think spoilers are kinda inferred no?

The A.I. ending is great.
I hated it so much, it made me so angry, I was furious the whole walk home. I had to stop for onion rings to calm myself down.

 :D

IF YOU ARE READING THIS THREAD YOU SHOULD OBVIOUSLY KNOW THERE WILL BE SPOILERS

(the future robots or the faked reunion with mommy?)

I personally don't think that spoilers should ever be inferred — especially in a general thread where you don't know what movie might be discussed.  Then again, I'm someone who has no interest in seeing twenty minutes of Avatar footage before the movie opens, so maybe I'm more sensitive to this whole spoiler thing than most.

Through most of the last 30 minutes I was pretty uneasy, but the aliens granting the mommy reunion wish is when my blood really boiled.

I've had a lot of friends tell me it's a great movie, but I can't bring myself to revisit it.

Really hated The Mist though.

I think this is the worst ending I have personally ever witnessed in a movie. It made me want to kill myself for what happened and for wasting 2 hours watching the rest of the movie. And I even heard that the ending King wrote was different and they changed it for the movie, which I believe, but that is dumbbb.

2.The Village

Oh ya this sucked SO bad. It would be high on my list. This should really be called the M. Knight Shyamalan Memorial list.
This is the WORST endings thread not the best ending thread.
