Went to the doctor and took control of my health.

Good for you, Martin!  Had you been feeling badly or was this just a regular checkup?

It was a follow-up visit because we have been discussing some weight loss alternatives. Ever since I moved out here I have gained a lot of weight and have been only temporarily successful at losing it. I am currently fullfilling my insurance company's criteria in order to get bariatric lap-band surgery. This was not my first choice but I have history of diabetes in both sides of my family - I am not HUGE but I need to lose the weight and nothing has worked so far. I am actually working really hard to change how I eat now (X's a day, portion control and healthier food) so when I get the surgery I will be successful and the transition won't be as drastic.

Yes - I do exercise also - although not nearly as much as I would like to - after a 12 hour day - it's hard to find the motivation to go work out. :-[

I'm proud of nothing I did yesterday.

made a list of films i want to check out at True/False, just waiting on their schedule to be released
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Built the entity relationship diagram for my film rankings database in SQL 2008.  This is going to be fun building the front-end for this! :)

This sounds awesome and exciting. Yet at the same time I have no idea what you're talking about.
