Very cool. J&I need a book club, but we're afraid of people.
Me, too. That's why my group consists of my sister-in-law, my college best friend (she's also a sister-in-law), and one other long-time friend. So, they aren't really people.

Really like Olive Kitteridge, and I just bought Tinkers this morning, even though I have to finish Love in the Time of Cholera and Shutter Island. I'm in the middle of both.
Cool about OK - I've heard good things about it, so I'm looking forward to it. And I'll be really interested to hear what you think of Tinkers.

Swam at the Sooke Potholes.

To get to this spot just hop the fence that is clearly marked "Keep Out" and then climb down the side of the cliff. The water is really clear and there are so many great jumping spots. This pic sucks, will bring camera next time.

October: a Sherman Alexie short story collection (we're not sure which yet: War Dances, Ten Little Indians, The Toughest Indian in the World, or Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven - any opinions?)

Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven was pretty disappointing, I thought, despite the appealing title. Haven't read the others.

OAD what fantastic book choices! The Remains of the Day is my favourite. The film was pretty good too.
