Poor Nancy, no Canadian boy had a crush on her.

Hahaha, remember our very first conversation about Degrassi?

It's weird how all Canadian girls get pregnant even though all Canadian boys are gay.

Joey Jeremiah gay?! Clearly you haven't seen what he does to Tessa Campanelli in the movie.

Spoilers!

That Lolita!

(I still think of her as being in grade eight.)

Lucy's doing her usual good job of carrying the burden of all the exposition so far.  Exposition and motherly concern.

"Wait a minute.  We're going to Carlton.  To be roommates?  You do journalism, I do film.  Remember?"

"Look, I know you like Joey a lot.  Maybe you even love him.  But are you ready to say yes for the rest of your life?"

Is Buddy Boy Beer a real thing?  Is this some Skippy-quality product placement?

Sorry, I just got so excited to talk Degrassi I lost my head.  :-[

(I still think of her as being in grade eight.)
But even then.

Was Tessa one of the people who had an unrequited crush on Joey at some point?  I can't remember.
I don't think so. I remember her with Scooter, Alex, and Yick, but never a Joey thing.

And, for what it's worth, I love that color on Tessa.
Who can resist purple velvet?

Is Buddy Boy Beer a real thing?
No. Granola bar and peanut butter product placement is one thing, but an actual beer brand in a CBC educational show should have been another.

Same question!
Shields is real.

She sure cleans up nice!

Joey Jeremiah, you dog.

Shields is real.
Great product placement and foreshadowing?  Awesome.
