This isn't a funny place, Joey.  I hate it.

I'm grateful to Wheels for getting me to laugh again so soon.

I remain, as ever, a horrible, horrible person.

No, that's a hilarious line. I laugh every time I see that scene.

Pat Mastroianni is a real champ in it.

Now would be a good time for L. D. to return.

One day I'm gonna boast, "Caitlin?  Yeah I knew her.  We used to be in high school together."

Perfect.

Also perfect:

"We don't talk.  Not since summer."
"Yeah... summer."

Love Caitlin's wistfulness there.

With so much going on, I totally forgot about Tessa.  She'd better get one final scene...

Yeah, all the wedding stuff is funny 'cause everybody talks like they haven't seen each other in years. Snake introduces Joey to his girlfriend as "an old friend" and they last saw each other like 6 weeks earlier.

With so much going on, I totally forgot about Tessa.  She'd better get one final scene...
I know. Her last appearance is her alone at the clinic, pretty crushing that they left her like that. And she doesn't even have a supportive Judge Reinhold to give her a ride home.

Bingo.
Good job. Apparently this Malcolm Burn character has worked with Emmylou Harris, Patti Smith, Daniel Lanois, Bob Dylan...
