Chat removed again
« on: September 17, 2009, 08:46:18 PM »
Sorry everyone but I've had to remove the chat integration again and in the next 24 hours I'm going to disable chat here completely.  We've had two CPU overload notices from GoDaddy and I'm sure chat is playing a major part.  If we fail to correct this issue then there will be major implications for the main Filmspotting.net domain.

We are looking at a solution to this issue for the long term but for now chat is going to have to go.

In the meantime, you can use the old chat space at:

http://chat.crackspotting.com

It's on different hosting and therefore outside of this issue.

Thanks,  Lynch

I host four websites.  All of them started on GoDaddy and all of them have now been since moved to another BlueHost.  If you really really push them you can get a database backup and move the whole thing over to someone else in a weekend.  (If you ever actually consider a move such as this I'd be happy to help with technical stuff.)

Thanks Ferris. I've heard some good things about Bluehost.

Has anyone had any experience with Dreamhost PS - their private server offering?
