Brewster McCloud

I have no idea why MGM hasn't rereleased this movie. It's one of Altman's best early films (and in my book among the best American films of the 70's), it's the perfect solution for Harold and Maude junkies who just can't get enough Bud Court (whose look in this film, I'm confident, inspired that of Harry Potter), and it's hillarious, mysterious, and visually arressting.

Isn't it time for some kind of comprehensive Altman box set that would finally make Brewster available on DVD? Who's with me?

With multitudes bent toward some flashing scene
Never disclosed, but hastened to again,
Foretold to other eyes on the same screen"

I Am.  Brewster McCloud is the closest I've seen to a live-action Simpsons movie. (Same absurdist humor).  I think it's hilarious.
