I love our polls, but whenever I see one person has posted in like 10, I hit that mark as unread button faster than a teen hits the close button when his mom walks in the room.

The fact that everything gets FYC'd for a Filmspot makes me completely ignore FYCs when planning what to watch.

I thought of this.

Sort of agree with this, but I hope that our keeping track of what's been seconded and thirded helps separate the wheat from the chaff. The real problem then is not that people FYC too much but actually don't FYC enough, in terms of seconding and thirding nominees.

But that process is what has Sunset Song, The Invitation, Mountains May Depart, Youth, Civil War, The Lobster, Love & Friendship, Macbeth, Zootopia, and Midnight Special in my queue.

Incoming reviews tomorrow are gonna be controversial. I looked two movies more than anybody I know.

Sometimes disappear from the boards for a long time with no warning.

(Which also causes me to not second and third filmspots.)

Is it really a confession if everyone knows it?
