I really like this forum and enjoy slowly getting to know the various people who post.  But, in all honesty, when the powers-that-be eventually end up putting porn on the internet, I'm outta here!

What does this mean?

Nothing at all; just being absurd.   :o

Ironically, even though we "gained" an hour today, I've been up since 5AM and the effects are starting to exhibit themselves.  Please feel free to delete any posts that end in l;kwjer'aljf'aopisjf'opijffAa - I won't take offense.
Kevin: Yes, why does there have to be evil?

Supreme Being: I think it has something to do with free will.

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

I've never watched the Oscar award show as it was sent. Only snippets in the news reports afterwards.

Have I missed something essential?

I am far too lazy to try and catch up on the 5 months or so of posts I have missed.

I am far too lazy to try and catch up on the 5 months or so of posts I have missed.

A bunch of people saw all sorts of movies.  And films, too.  Some posted reviews; others, critiques.  You will have to align yourself with one camp or the other by the end of your next post.  Some people's pets passed.  Others had pets who endured malaise but survived.  A few posters got into flame wars but they died down.

Ferris went AWOL.   :-[

A bunch of people played a bunch of movie games and then got burned out.  Newbies joined and started creating threads that already existed (or didn't really qualify as their own thread) but nobody called them out on it because we were happy to have the company.

Community got cancelled.   >:(

That's it since August, when I joined.  Welcome back!  :)

That's seems like a pretty concise recap - I will now mark all threads as read and move on...
Thanks JB for a hearty welcome back.

You forgot the episode where we all spent the night in that haunted house.

Whose pets passed?

Oh my, I haven't been here for months, either, so I know nothing! And the first thing I do back on here is write a PM to pixote asking about his dog. Please tell me she's okay?!? Of course I am terribly sorry about the passing of people's pets no matter whose it was, but this would just be too cruel.
