Sometimes I see a new post from DarkeningHumour and think, for a second, that 'Noke has finally stopped lurking.

Should the former take it as a compliment ?

The utmost compliment.

Is there any other way to read these tiny subtexts than to quote them ?

Copy and paste them on the URL bar.

I've never read Romeo and Juliet, and West Side Story is the only version of that I've watched, on stage or screen.

The latter is attributable to the former.

It pretty much counts. Just pretend she dies at the end, too.

I just got royally honked at and flipped off, on the road just now. Can't remember when I've been honked at before. Didn't know I could make anyone that mad :) and I'm not even sure why! I was going over the speed limit the whole way, but did have to stop at the top of a deep gully by my house to turn into my neighborhood. Many cars turn there and everybody waits for cars that have to turn. Maybe it was his first time on that road. ???

My confession is, that I'm secretly happy I could elicit that kind of response. :)

Everyone's human.  It could have been your fault and you didn't know it, or it could have been their fault, and they didn't want to admit it.  I once had a full argument with someone about whose fault an almost-accident was, and we were both driving at the time.  Not too smart, I suppose.
