I really contemplated Elephant, but it's kinda like United 93 - it's really hard to process the question "favorite scenes"

The magic card scene in Yi Yi. I welled up at the sheer brilliance of that scene.

Did you get what scenes I was referencing?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

I don't rewatch films enough to have a good list, but some that come to mind:

Nobody Knows - Playground
All About Lily Chou-Chou - Okinawa

Plus some recent stuff (dog chase in river, joker leaving the hospital, the two scenes from Children of Men, I forget what else).
