I'd probably knock a star off of Home on the Range.  I thought Chicken Little was entertaining.  Just a lot of fun.

Bolt is a big improvement, and PatF was prove positive that hand drawn does not a good movie make. The problems at Disney Animation are a lot deeper than the kind of paint brush they work with.

The fact that PatF was good-really good works against this statement.

Okay. Let's assume for a second that I hold the movie in some sort of esteem. I would still argue that Disney Animation has been going through a very troubling period creatively since the mid-90s. I think a lot of it has to do with the studio trying to balance marketability with the creative side. What Pixar does so well is to simply focus on what they think they would enjoy watching, and how to make the most from it.

Bolt (Byron Howard & Chris Williams, 2008)

I can remember seeing this twice in the theater, the second time over winter break because my mom wanted to see it. I like it, it's a strong film and the voice work is pretty good all the way around. The best characters are easily Rhino the hamster and all of the pigeons. The storyline itself is interesting, a tv star dog who is convinced he is a super dog gets a wake up call when he escapes to go save his dear Penny from the bad guy, but it never had me going wow or on the edge of my seat. The animation was a clear improvement over Chicken Little, although Meet the Robinsons was in between, but clearly the animation is on scale with what it needs to be at this point. A fun time and good journey.

Meet the Robinsons (Stephen J. Anderson, 2007)

This was my first ever experience with 3D and I got to say I loved it. I loved it in the theater and I still love it. There is something grand and magical about the imagination behind this one. The animation is pretty great and on top of that the story is pretty awesome. For my money one of the funniest Disney flicks in the marathon as well. I did noticed the message was kind of beat over the head this time around, but I'm okay with that because I love it that much. Oh, and I will fight to the death that Goob is easily the most likable Disney villain. His mannerisms and though processes are the greatest things imaginable. The crazy cast of characters and "weirdness" of the Robinson family makes me fall in love with them and the film. One of my favorite in the marathon.

A fantastic marathon and proud to have participated and completed it. My friends were great all throughout this too. One in particular was here for about 95% of them and a few others were here almost every Sunday night too. A lot of fun doing this and can't wait to continue with Animation Sundays in the future, but I think we'll take a break for the rest of the quarter as of right now.

Glad to see Brother Bear so high.  It gets completely forgotten. It's quite a nice family movie...

There's a lot I disagree with on the listing, but I generally appreciated your reviews, so I'm good.  However, you didn't review Return To Never Land, one of my favorites, and I'm bummed about that.
