got only about 20 minutes into (my first viewing of) Barton Fink last night and gave up and went to bed.  This may take a bit more mental energy that I had last night.  Save until I delete.

More mental energy for the first 20 minutes? You haven't seen anything yet.

Raising Arizona and The Hudsucker Proxy (I'm probably the only one who will vote for this one).

O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Miller's Crossing, The Big Lebowski.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Miller's Crossing is far and away their best. The man who wasn't there is 2nd.

I like it, but it's not a favourite for me.

When you see them all together like that you realize just how amazingly good and consistent the Coens are.
I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.

Just saw A Serious Man.  Is it the first Coen's movie with nudity (albeit brief)?
