Even if it was eligible it would not have mattered. Waltz has some great segments, but the use of animation in there is otherwise not all that special.

But it is an animated film. That's all that matters, not the quality of the animation.

Yeah, I'm not arguing against that, I'm just saying there are likely better examples that clash with the one category rule thing.

In The Mood For Love

I can't take this topic because I can't think of anything bad about the film.  Nothing to nitpick, even.

I haven't seen it yet, which is not good. I think someone said that it's too much like 2046 or some other WKW film.

2046 is unlike Mood in significant ways which is a reason why many people were disappointed by 2046 because they wanted a sequel that was more like Mood.

Good:  Everything.
Bad:  Nothing.

I'm pretty sure that's against the rules, but maybe we should let it slide since we might not get past ItMFL otherwise. 8)

Chungking Express

Good: Makes me feel good every time I watch it.
Bad: Leaves California Dreamin stuck in my head for days after.

Tim burton

Good: Has an interesting visula style and has made some very good movies.

Bad: Inconsistent career and can put style over plot. Also, doesn't revamp Alice in wonderland as much as I would like.

Spike Jonze.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.
