Boardwalk Empire
I can't wait.

I am half way through season one of Veronica Mars and 3 eps into Mad Men. Both are pretty awesome so far.
I kinda gave up on both of those, although I do plan on getting back into Mad Men eventually.

They're both great, but I think we've already had this discussion.

Re: Party Down

I've seen it 3 times and it hasn't hooked me yet. I'll keep trying 'cause it seems like something I'd like.

Do keep at it, I feel like it's only been getting better!

Also, just caught up on Dexter. What a way to finish the season! Ritaaa :(

Watched the first episode of The Real L Word. I was never really able to get into The L Word as it all was a bit contrived. The Real L Word does feel a little more authentic, though naturally still with almost across the board beautiful women (though no one near as divine as Shane from the fiction series). Anyway, to think I thought I was a social retard when it comes to the man-woman stuff, I am completely at sea here as to why big emotional moments happen when they do or understanding why people are behaving in a certain way. Maybe I can handle gay men...bring on The Real Queer (As) Folk.

My Dad is watching the Breaking Bad Pilot. We haven't watched a show together in a while. Probably season 1 of Sarah Connor Chronicles. Maybe we'll watch this one together.

So do you people watch shows with anyone else or is your TV viewing a solitary experience?

Depends on the show. I usually like to have a batch of both new and classic shows that I'm going through with my gf, but I often have a couple going that she's not interested in. It's always nice to have a TV buddy when possible. Back when it was still on, Sunday night meant going to mom's to watch The Sopranos with her.

I love watching new shows with people. I got my parents into The Office and 30 Rock. New Boyfriend and I are going through NewsRadio together, and soon I'll be starting him on Friends from the beginning. Its really hard for me to start a new show without someone in the room encouraging me. Too much of a time commitment.

Most of the TV I watch is with my wife.  Except for sports.
