If I had a nickel for every article titled "Darren Aronofsky to direct...".
I'll believe it when there's a trailer.

Yeah, but if you actually read most of those articles, they always say he is rumored, in consideration, etc. IIRC when I read it earlier today, this article said he signed the deal. Then again, it's only a pilot so it might not get picked up.

Watched the last season of Cougar Town over the last couple of days.  Not bad at all, reminded me of Coupling more than anything else.  But more laid back and middle aged.  Also, Courtney Cox looks like an alien.

New list, adding also Sherlock:

1. Mad Men
2. Parks & Recreation
3. Treme
4. Community
5. Louie
6. Justified
7. Terriers
8. Archer
9.  Game of Thrones
10. The Daily Show
11. Doctor Who
12. Boardwalk Empire
13. Sherlock
14. Top Chef
15. 30 Rock
16. The Colbert Report
17. Futurama
18. Cougar Town
19. Bored to Death
20. Sports Show
21. True Blood
22. Modern Family
23. The Office
24. Friday Night Lights
25. Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution
26. The Simpsons
27. Saturday Night Live
28. The Walking Dead

SHERLOCK! Totally forgot about that. It'd be near the top 5, probably. That middle episode hurts it a bit.

To be clear, it's not nearly as brilliant as that show.  But it does have the same kind of vibe.

I didn't count Breaking Bad, which technically did not have a season during the 10-11 season.
Oh, what's the official period for the season?
June to June, I think.  With some allowance for shows that run into June (like Game of Thrones).  Breaking Bad ended before June 2010 and won't start again for a few more weeks in 2011, so it won't be eligible for this year's Emmys, for example.
Stupid Emmys. Excluding BB, I guess I'll push everything behind it up and put Mildred at 10.

FLY hopes to do the same within the year.

There's a teaser trailer for Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire online, but I don't have the link right now.

The Killing?  Seriously?

I thought everyone agreed to hate that show now.
