I love the fact that Tosh.0 references all the bygone Comedy Central shows that preceded his.  I used to think it was with total snark and derision, but I've seen him give shout-outs to people I'm pretty sure he's friends with.
Kevin: Yes, why does there have to be evil?

Supreme Being: I think it has something to do with free will.

-------------------------------------------------------

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

The Between Two Ferns special on Sunday was so CINECAST!ing funny. Especially the gag reel at the end. When Zach sat down on that toilet, I couldn't breathe I was laughing so damn hard.

It was on before the Comedy Awards on Sunday. Basically a Barbara Walter's type special with Tina Fey, Jon Stewart, and Sir Richard Branson. Definitely worth a watch if you like the web episodes.

Cool, I'm gonna check out the Zach thing. But I'm boycotting the Comedy Awards because of the NNF snub.

I'm Alan Partridge, Series 1
Coogan =

The Larry Sanders Show, 4.16
This episode pulls off a pretty remarkable trick; it’s the usual backstage showbiz satire but in the final minutes of the episode they create an actual classic, on-air moment within the show within the show. TLSS can certainly be cynical, but at this moment you get a sense of how reverential Shandling is of the late-night comedy format, as corny as it may be. Extra points for k.d. land and Scott Thompson talking curling and Chatelaine.

Modern Family, something from the current season
This has gone from pleasantly middling to borderline awful. Julie Bowen is the least capable comic performer on TV.

The PJs, 1.1 – 1.3
It’s not racist if Larry Wilmore says it isn’t, obviously. The running HUD jokes are good.

Roseanne, Season 1 –Season 5 (122 episodes)
The first four seasons are superb. With Becky’s departure at the very beginning of 5, the series is still strong but the golden age is definitely over.

Spaced, 1.1-1.2
Borderline unwatchable.

Suburgatory, 1.1
I feel like if something is labeled a satire, for some folks that means it’s inherently smart. Watching one episode is admittedly not a fair measure, but this felt really tired. If I ever watch it again, it’ll be to see if Sisto actually does it with his daughter.

I was pretty meh on the series but kept on watching because so many people whose opinion mostly align with mine were so high on it.  It wasn't until episode 6 Epiphanies when I continued on, happily.  I didn't go on to episode 7; I rewatched 6 instead then I went on to 7.  The ending of episode 3 is all time classic IMO.  The series is annoyingly visually unappealing throughout the entire run, though.

Yep.

That is certainly my impression from the first 2.

Though I hope you do see episode 6 and the ending of episode 3, I definitely won't begrudge you for not continuing past epi 2.  As a whole, I don't consider the series must-see.
