The US version. I watch the world game around World Cup usually.   I am not sure what they are doing in AUstralia. Why have rugby and Australia rules FB.  Does Canada still have a league?  I only played hockey growing up and never knew they had a foodballl league back then

Not sure why the split occurred, but in NSW and Queensland rugby is football (I think it is Rugby League, but it is possible they call Rugby Union football as well), the rest of Australia calls Australian Rules football. Some also refer to the world game as football.

I do not know if Canada has an Australian Rules league, they do compete in the Rugby world cup thou, they are current ranked 22nd, and the best they have done in the world cup is the Quarter Finals in 1991. Canada plays Italy on the 26th Sept this year.

I have a friend who plays Aussie Rules in Canada but not sure if there's a competitive league.
Although there might, since there is a competitive ice hockey league in Australia.  ;D

So Canada as a US style league and Aussie rules league it seems. I think I just have to give up on following or watching sports unless it happens to be on TV on a bar.  I gave up on US Football back in 2004 as I couldn’t watch the games but then decided to renegade a few years ago by paying for Gamepass.  But all I get is disappointment by watching the Dolphins get trounced like they don’t even belong in the same league as their opponent.

I haven't seen Fleabag but I'm kinda bummed Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn't go 7 for 7 for Veep. That would've been quite the achievement.

I'll have to go check out Fleabag now.

I watched it like 3 weeks ago, just finishing on Saturday night. It's alright, not really sure why people are flipping out over it, and think the first season might be better than the second. The show isn't particularly funny, nor is the story all that compelling. When it becomes introspective is when it's probably at its best, but I guess there's a case to be made that what makes it appealing is that it's introspective in every action, and the show is definitely not always at its best, so perhaps I'm wrong there. Also don't like, in all this Emmy showering, that the one true great part of the show, Brett Gelman, is not equally celebrated.
