I wonder what odds you would have gotten for Liverpool no shots on goal at home today.

Perhaps was a prop for it, but might be too specific to take action. Hate that all these were at 3pm, since I am not done work until 6pm est.

Friendship ended with Liverpool, Bayern is my best friend now.

Looking at Terry over 5.5 recs tomorrow and a Houston W, ideally by 3.5 or more, to really capitalize. Go Texans!

Is Ted Lasso a good show, or just one that makes people feel good and happy, like with Schitt’s Creek?

I think it's legit good (and I didn't get bit by the Schitt's Creek bug, if that helps you determine what's happening at all).

I think FLY's question implies that it can be both. Or it could be just the latter.

Do you have something against things that make people feel good?

I'm with Bondo, puede ser los dos.

They can be, though I am, yes, very skeptical of 'feel good' programing, especially in the television format where it's easy to fall back on convention rather than pushing for more complex directions. I would say that Gravity Falls is largely a 'feel good' show that ends conventionally more often than not, but it doesn't exist solely to be a comfort food, which is the impression I've gotten from talk around the later seasons of Schitt's Creek and, to an extent, Ted Lasso. Didn't like what I watched of SC, so I can't speak to that, trying to determine if it's worth going through Lasso or if it's more likely to be something that would irritate me.

Had a friend visit and he said he wouldn't watch The Queen's Gambit because it isn't true and women can't beat men at chess. He feels like The Morning Show (of which we watched one episode) was unrealistic because having two women anchors would be ratings poison. Of course he also thinks COVID was a conspiracy between the aliens and the new world order that is going to control us through the vaccine so...yeah, he's apparently lost the ability to function in society (he's been roadtripping/camping out of his car for most of the past year doing a little remote freelancing).
