I don't always do it but when I was reading The Handmaid's Tale a year ago I was definitely casting it and directing it in my mind. Somehow I think faced with actual technical decisions my skill would collapse. I can picture it but I can't tell you how to make it happen.

Started and stopped after 30 pages: Shopclass as Soulcraft - Matthew B. Crawford (too academic)
