I added six titles to the list in March (Clouds of May, Election [Johnnie To], PIxote, Tabu, Three, and The Wind Will Carry Us) — maybe one of them?

That would be the one.

What did you think of the Hammer/Shaw Bros blend of 7 Golden Vampires?

Schlocky, fun schlocky. Shu Shih was really good and seeing Peter Cushing in a martial arts film was interesting. Still I only give it 65/100.

188/250 Action! Action 229/1124 dtsjr library (up 4)            Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, La Jetee, All That Jazz, 1 unknown from a list change

It would be Election (Johnnie To), but I have also seen Johnnie To's Three (if that is the Three you are referring to), no it is Election, I did not have Three checked, but I have it checked now.

Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (in 5 top lists)[/li][/list]
Is this you following along with the Marathon?

245/546 1SO’s Essentials (244; Pain & Gain)
I'd ask, but sometimes it's best not to ask. I think of it as a personal pick, but every time I watch it I remember why the biggest problem is the credited director. Not the direction itself, but the difficulty removing Michael Bay's baggage as a largely terrible filmmaker. If it had been directed by Edgar Wright the results wouldn't be very different.

It is! Sadly I have not managed to keep up with how fast the marathon travels, however.

I did not expect much from this movie and it just about delivered just that. Maybe Edgar Wright could have injected some humorous self distance to these charachters? For now they take themselves too seriously.
