A Town Called Panic
« on: January 22, 2010, 10:14:39 AM »
Was curious if anyone else has been able to catch up with A Town Called Panic? It's a Belgian stop-motion animated picture that is pure absurdity. Very much enjoyed it myself.

Anyone able to see it or the tv show it was based on yet?

This was my closing film of TIFF for me last year. Great way to close too. I really want to see this again asap.

That's a brilliant closing film. My favorite festival closer was in 2003 or 2004 when Bubba-Ho-Tep closed the Rehoboth Film Festival.

They ran it last week as a way to open the new Indie Theater in town.  Looked awesome, but I skipped it because they were running it on DVD and I wasn't going to pay $8.50 for a DVD.
