oh Klaus, how can you say that (and so shortly after his 75th birthday, four days ago), if we (citizen of berlin) would be that picky we would have no celebrities left...

Wow, the "Don't Hassel this Hoff" t-shirt.  I just don't know what to say.  And KITT's British cousin with the steering wheel on the right is interesting.  I don't know if it's as good as his video for "Hooked on a Feeling," though.

On a completly not hasselhoff note.

I saw mc chris the other night in portland.  Great show, if you like the "nerd core" genre.

So I am suprised we don't have a thread about concerts yet.

The last concert I went to was the Black Keys at the Agora theater back in November.  Before that it was Switchfoot at the Agora, and then The Red Hot Chili Peppers (on Halloween) at Quicken Loans Arena.

So what's the best concert you've been to?

For me the best concert I've been to was the Chili Peppers in 2002 at an outdoor ampitheater.  Queens of the Stone Age opened and did a great job.  But the Chili Peppers were amazing, playing for around 2 1/2 hours and an encore.

The first time I saw the Black Keys would be a close second.  Great live band and they had a triple encore.  Awesome.

David Byrne in... 2004? was pretty darn cool, in Manchester. David Gilmour in London, 2002 also a bit special.

Massive Attack are a wonderful band to see live - almost spiritual.

Last concert I went to was Bob Dylan, last fall, the fourth or fifth time I've seen him.

The best I've seen:

- Nirvana in January 1994

- Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison, summer 1998

- Lollapalooza 1993: Rage Against the Machine, Dinosaur Jr, Alice In Chains, Arrested Development, Fishbone

- David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails, fall of 1995, I think

I saw Roger Waters a few months back and that was pretty damn cool.  The first half was an assortment of songs and the second half was the whole Dark Side of the Moon Album.  They also had a screen in the back and each song was accompanied by video.
I really wanted to see Bob Dylan but was unable to.
