The Swell Season at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston MA. (11.21.07)

It was a great show, Martha Wainwright opened and Glen & Marketa put on a powerful show. Their new music shows so much promise and I look forward to any future works they might be working on.

caved in and went to the eddie izzard show (comedy not music) as there was a seat available in row c.  glad I went as this was flippin funny.  the theme is history of civilization but it is really just the spine for a rediculous amount of tangents some seemed rehearsed and others seemed like legitimate digressions that petered out after a bit before resuming the main plot (he really does not like organized religion).  i'm not really sure if anyone else does this type of thing but no one makes it as believable as mr. e.  he has small lcd screen in the set that passes from day to night through the show - it faded to black a good 30 minutes before the actual end of the show.

oh, and he's not in drag this tour... hence the name of the tour "Stripped".  Sorry no pics, they were taking cameras if they saw you snapping. :P

Week 1: Eisley (Sunday)

i've actually seen them live twice.  both times opening for someone.

a lot of their stuff sounds the same to me.
