Thanks for helping me understand Dylan better! :) So happy I went and took part of a piece of history as it's happening. Someday, long in the future, I can say, "I went to one of those stops on his never ending tour."

Saw tMg on Saturday night, they were really great, as always. Passed on seeing EMA to see them, which I'm bummed about because that show was super small and I haven't seen her since P4K fest like 6 years ago, but also it's tMG, even if I am seeing them again in April (and maybe December).

Setlist

Things Have Changed
It Ain't Me, Babe
Highway 61 Revisited
Why Try to Change Me Now (Cy Coleman cover)
Summer Days
Melancholy Mood (Frank Sinatra cover)
Tryin' to Get to Heaven
This Nearly Was Mine (Rodgers & Hammerstein cover)
Honest With Me
The September of My Years (Frank Sinatra cover)
Pay in Blood
Tangled Up In Blue
Early Roman Kings
Soon After Midnight
Desolation Row
Thunder on the Mountain
Autumn Leaves (Yves Montand cover)
Long and Wasted Years

Encore:
Blowin' in the Wind
Ballad of a Thin Man

For all the maligning views about Dylan phoning it in for live performances, seeing him two nights in a row headlining a festival is still one of my highlights, despite not being overly familiar with him. Considering that year of the festival had standout performances by George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, ZZ Top, Elvis Costello, Grace Jones, Fishbone, Jethro Tull, and B.B. King, Dylan's shows were just next level for reasons I can't quite enunciate.

This is an accurate observation. 8)

Paul McCartney is playing in my town tonight. I spent way too much money on tickets and haven't been this excited for a concert in eons.
