Dirty Dancing?

Are you actually using the Maltin book or the app?

You got it. I'm using the 2006-edition. I don't want to be the only one to give 'em though, so if you have the book or the app and want to do one, go ahead after you get it right, otherwise indicate for someone else to go. For now, I'll just go again.

Heh.  I used to listen to that podcast all the time, but I got sick of his sign off.   Good game.

Willem Dafoe is no longer a shithead. It's whoever the audience winner chooses.

I have no Maltin capabilities at this time so if I get one right, you just keep going.

Hmm... it's not Petrified Forest.  Pretty sure that's 3.5 stars (and 1936, I think).  And G-Men is three stars but '35, I think.   Is Cagney in it?  (And can we guess cast members?  I don't know the rules.)

(And can we guess cast members?  I don't know the rules.)

The format on the podcast is Doug gives a clue (generally year/genre/Maltin's rating and brief comment) and the # of names listed. Then the players go back and forth bidding a lower amount of names until they get to zero or another player challenges them to name the movie. Names are read from the bottom to the top. Obviously the whole bidding thing doesn't work here, but the general idea is the same.

Not sure why that's better, but it is!
