Ok, it's more simple than the title suggests. Books that you've read and now they are making a movie (but still unreleased). Talk about your hopes, what do you think of the cast, if it looks they're gonna screw it up...
- Never Let Me Go (Kazuo Ishiguro), it's hard to talk about this without entering in spoilers (which I'm sure the trailer is gonna be full). Let's say that it looks terrific and I have high hopes for it.
- Norwegian Wood (Haruki Murakami), Could this be the ultimate coming of age movie?
- The Killer Inside Me (Jim Thompson), infamous in the recent Sundance festival. But all the critical points are in the book, so... I think it might turn great.
- Shutter Island (Dennis Lehane), the novel was nothing but a really good pulp/airport novel (with a slightly dissapointing ending). I think it will be really interesting.
- Black Hole (Charles Burns), I think the project is frozen now (David Fincher was in talks a year ago). Check the graphic novel ASAP.
