Only 6 I need to see.

A Christmas Tale
Crazy Heart
Dear Zachary
Of Time and the City
35 Shots of Rhum
24 City

Just flip those last two around and you have a descending list of how much I am looking forward to these films, with Rhums being the highest and that goofy French monster being the lowest.

Need to see 24 City & Dear Zac, that is all.  New Movies FTW!

Really surprised Precious is leading - are people actively avoiding it based on buzz/perception?

There were 15 that I had not seen, but I don't plan on making any special effort to see more. If they come out on DVD (and I believe A Serious Man is out on Tuesday, which is a priority for me to see), I'll probably see them but I won't make any special effort to see them in the theatre. I suppose stuff like Dear Zachary and 24 City are also available (the latter on Netflix Instant) so I may catch up with them too.

A lot:

Antichrist
Anvil! The Story of Anvil
The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans
Bright Star
Broken Embraces
The Cove
Crazy Heart
Dear Zachary
An Education
Food, Inc.
Humpday
Hunger
The Hurt Locker
In the Loop
Of Time and the City
Ponyo
Precious
A Serious Man
17 Again
Sita Sings the Blues
35 Shots of Rum
24 City
Up in the Air
The White Ribbon

And I probably won't get the chance to watch any of them in the next month.

22 I haven't seen.

Will probably get to:

35 Shots
Bad Lieutenant
An Education
Broken Embraces
The White Ribbon

The rest just feel like work. In fact, 35 Shots feels like work, but I'll watch it anyway.

Watching a good film should not feel like homework. It's a very enjoyable film. I hope it wins you over :)

It's a very uncomplicated movie.  It's a simple story, really, about a father and daughter and about moving on.
