Sundance Channel is showing A Christmas Tale and Hunger before the end of the month, I think.

In order of how much I want to see them:

1. 35 Shots
2. Avatar
3. Broken Embraces
4. Ponyo
5. Up in the Air
6. Anvil!
7. (500) Days
8. District 9
9. Crazy Heart
10. Paranormal Activity

-gap-

11. 17 Again
12. Thirst
13. Food, Inc
14. Hunger
15. White Ribbon
16. The Cove
17. Dear Zachary
18. Antichrist
19. Precious

I have Anvil! and District 9 from netflix.  I'll have a trio of docs I don't want to watch as well: The Cove, Food Inc, Dear Zachary.  I should be able to watch Broken Embraces Monday night.  The rest are, I'm pretty sure, not going to happen.

I am rally surprised to see White Ribbon so low on your list, it was really great and I don't even like Haneke.

I think I've now seen all the movies I actually want to.

It's a shame, because there's a number of excellent movies you've missed out on.  Of course, the same is true for me as well.

1/2 of Broken Embraces to go and then I'm done!

(Now how the heck do I vote?)

That's right matt. Avoid Avatar
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

I tried to go once but it was sold out. I figure it was that night or never.

Do we have a due date for ballots yet? I'm too lazy to investigate.

Ballot will be posted tonight, unless I fall asleep or something.  Looks like they'll be due March 1, with winners announced in chat March 3.

I'm sure there are some good ones I haven't seen, I'm just now in the "watching only 'cause they're nominated" territory. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised by them all!  :)
