New York Times bestselling authors Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner return with more iconoclastic insight and observations in this long-awaited follow-up to their blockbuster Freakonomics. SuperFreakonomics is based on all-new, revolutionary research and original studies by Steven Levitt. This provocative material has never been seen before.Freakonomics was a New York Times Book Review Notable Book, a Globe and Mail bestseller, a Book Sense Book of the year, a Quill Award winner for the Best Business Book and a finalist for the Financial Times/Goldman Sachs Business Book of the year.

The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon (2009) tells the story of the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett who, in 1925, disappeared with his son in the Amazon while looking for an ancient lost city. For decades, explorers and scientists have tried to find evidence of his party and the Lost City of Z. Perhaps as many as 100 people perished or disappeared searching for Fawcett over the years. Grann made his own journey into the Amazon, revealing new evidence about how Fawcett died and showing that Z may have really existed right under his feet.

If this helps at all, for those who would buy the actual book, Superfreakonomics is still in hardcover only and is $17.59 at Amazon (selling used for around $14.50).  Lost City of Z is in paperback, list price $15.95 and selling for $7.99 at Amazon (50% off!!).  Used for about the same amount.
