I admire your diligence, ferris. Your crazy, crazy, diligence. ;)

While I'm comforted that only one film was kicked out of the top 20 due to negative votes, that seems to make them even more sucky since that means almost all of them were useless. I wonder how differently the list would have turned out if those slots were used to give an extra push to films people actually loved?

It's very annoying to people that know me well.  :)

That's true too.  That's the one statistic I can't conjure up!

As a stats guy in general one can go crazy thinking up the permutations.  I'm guessing that 25%-40% of our top 20 would be completely different had we chose to build RANK into the films.  (I can discuss that more after winners are announced without giving away away specifics)

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Nice lists FCM and JB can not agree with the inclusion of Coffee and Cigarettes, but love the inclusion of Hedwig on both your lists and Love Exposure on FCM's. I must see Brick.

hmmm - so there is a film that is possibly top 20 worthy, that also generates enough hate to knock out out again. It has to be a Lars Von Trier film!

Will we find out which elusive film this was tomorrow?
