Doubt

Very glad you remembered this perhaps less-obvious choice.
It's not like all colorful and stuff, but man, the camerawork was amazing in that film.

Anything by Deakins is in the forefront of my mind for this category.

Spirited Away is possibly my favorite film, but there is no cinematography in it.  Wall-E I can buy the argument that's been well covered in these threads.

I'd add:

Werckmeister Harmonies
Russian Ark
Sakuran
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Kill Bill Vols 1 and 2

I'm not going to get into that argument again, but for my money there is cinematography in animated films.

Well I guess we need to just make the call one way or the other to prevent people from wasting their votes.  I'll add it to the list of topics for the jury sequester later today

Considering we don't have a best art design or best art direction category, nor one that says best non-realistic images (AVATAR!!) I'm just kinda considering the cinematography category as "Most beautiful films". And therefore animation counts. Cause it is beautiful. imo.

Also, I'd like to add:

Belleville Rendezvous (Triplets of Belleville)
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

It's time for me to go semi-all-out, w@w.  My plain lists are going out the window...in some cases.  Hopefully you'll have time to catch up with the film before the deadline.
