I honestly can't recall the PDL score, and I've seen it twice. Didn't stick out for me for some reason.

It's one of the few scores that functions as an extension of the character as opposed to merely underscoring what the character is doing. It brings us into Barry Egan's world more. It's also really wonderful music.

One of the few scores from this decade that I've actually listened to a bunch of times outside of the film (Requiem is one of the others).
