But The River is from the 90's...

I know.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Fun list. I see you're a fan of Apichatpong Weerasethakul. I recently saw Wordly Desires. It was good stuff.

Yeah, huge Apichatpong fan. Tropical Malady absolutely floored me. I'd LOVE to hear Adam and Matty talk about him...
Worldly Desires is really cool, too. A lot of different levels and the look of it is great.

I almost put What Time is it There on my list, but I remembered that The River was a better film.

I don't care for The River.  The only Tsais that I really like at the very least are What Time; Goodbye, Dragon Inn; and The Hole.

The River is really odd and I think that's why I like it so much, which itself is odd because I have pretty mainstream tastes. I tend to simply 'admire' stuff like The River, but I genuinely like it a lot.

I also just saw 35 Shots of Rum. I thought it too was very nice, though not top 10 of the decade worthy. A very simple movie about family. I look forward to seeing other Denis films.

SSWF&S very good, but better than Address Unknown, Ki-duk Kim, if you disagree with me then see his film Time, just perfectly sentimentally flawed for all you SSWF fans.
