I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.

Team America: World Police
This wasn't eligible for the top 100 animated list, is it eligible here?

I think we need to broaden the definition.  I mean strictly speaking Wallace and Gromit or Mr. Fox are live action as well.

I fully realize there is a sentiment that Monsters, Inc is "lesser Pixar"...

Those people are wrong. Monsters, Inc. is top shelf all the way.

I think I am alone in embracing the goodness

Nope, I'm also a fan.

Yeah, it's actually on my Top 100 list. So... lots of love.

I like you.

Too much bad on one page, I need to provide logical counter points...

Countering that Pixar we have a slightly better, but still mostly mediocre, CGI animated film that I think a number of people liked...

To counter the atrocity that is another insufferable Wallace and Grommit cartoon we have the film that should have won the Best Animated Feature from one of the best directors working today...

And since it hasn't been mentioned yet, to counter balance the occasionally pretty, occasionally dull, Sita Sings the Blues we have a stunning feast for the eyes...

There's your Best Cinematography...

It is in my marathon if I ever find a way to see it (and no, I'm not sure "that way" is viable for macs).

It probably is, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about.

Yeah, it is, now I just have to decide if I want the hassle necessary to take that approach.

Oh, man, FLY. If we're going Wallace & Gromit vs. Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (hilarious), I am more than happy to be in the W&G camp. The Curse of the Were-Rabbit has a charming and clever story. At 77 minutes, Corpse Bride is two times too long. I wanted to like it. I did. I saw it opening day. No. It's almost entirely unappealing.

I want The Secret of Kells to come out on dvd already. It looks gorgeous. Thanks for those caps.
