I can think of only five documentaries this decade that escaped the yoke of journalism/human interest story, and truly did something artistic with the genre.

5.  The King of Kong
4.  My Winnipeg
3.  Waltz with Bashir
2.  Fog of War
1.  Grizzly Man
I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.
