Rate the Last Movie You Didn't Watch

Vincere  (Marco Bellocchio, 2009)
A tedious, insufferable slog.  You couldn't drag me to this one.  It's been a long time since Fists in the Pocket.
Grade: D+

Chloe  (Atom Egoyan, 2009)
Ugh, what happened to the guy who made Family Viewing, Exotica, and The Sweet Hereafter?  This is better than Ararat, but that's not saying much.
Grade: C-

A Nightmare on Elm Street  (Samuel Bayer, 2010)
Really nice update of the best 80s horror franchise, with nice direction from music video alum Bayer.
Grade: B+

Iron Man 2  (Jon Favreau, 2010)
It has its moments, but it's a little too in love with itself or something.
Grade: C+

I'm confused, is this how it is done.

Kick-Ass (2010)
Somewhere, somebody is setting up a Chloe Moretz turns 18 countdown clock after this aggressive and winning performance. My bet is the guy whose review they read on Kermode complaining about the sexualization of children. For all her talent on display here, she'll still manage to ruin one of my favorite films ever by not being Swedish enough so we'll always have Kick-Ass.

Grade: B+

The Karate Kid (2010)
Let's face it, it's impossible to remake an classic like The Karate Kid and have it be everything the original is. They didn't just write "sweep the leg" knowing it would catch. It happened by chance, and it took time. So if you disregard all that sort of thing from the original and compare the two films on a level playing field, this is a worthy update. If we give it a chance, water it every couple years, eventually it too may mature into a classic. For now it's just a good film that pays tribute to it's predecessor.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

It's pretty much the Citizen Kane of gaming, but, you know, in movie form.

Toy Story 3 (2010)
The Pixar guys did it again!  First 20 minutes were all-time great, the last act got a bit action heavy, but overall: EXCELLENT (the 3D didn't add much though)

Forgive me but i dont understand the thread. Technically i didnt just watch every film ever made except Walker, do i rate them all?

On average, weighing all up id give them .... 8. (out of 10).

Or do i just rate a random film so long as it wernae the last one i watched?

"What should have been an enjoyable 90 minutes of nubile, high-school flesh meeting a frenzy of blood-caked blades, becomes instead an exploitational and complex parable of the conflicting demands of agrarianism and artistry. I voted a miss."
