Blue Valentine (2010)

Never has a movie about marriage felt so true and raw. Both Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling should win Oscars.

Eat, Pray, Love

Occupying the late summer, female-relief-from-explosion-movies slot that Julie and Julia did last year, another overpriveleged New Yorker finds healing and meaning in her life by means of consumption.  Bleah.  Although Javier Bardem is surprisingly hot as Julia Roberts' new love, until now it's been hard to get the image of Anton Chigurh out of my mind when I hear his name.  After this I get the whole sex symbol thing.

I trust you called MovieFone to check theater listings?
Of course. Firestorm wasn't playing near me.

I hear Ponce de Leon is very good.

I'm giggling at the thought of people IMDB'ing some of these titles

It's good, but The Fountain of Youth scene is divisive.
