Contemplating a short break from Westerns after the intensive March marathon.

I think I would like to run through the Star Trek films. Anyone else interested in joining me, or shall I forge ahead on my own on this one?

1. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
2. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
3. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
4. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
5. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
6. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

7. Star Trek: Generations
8. Star Trek: First Contact
9. Star Trek: Insurrection
10. Star Trek: Nemesis

11. Star Trek
12. Star Trek Into Darkness
13. Star Trek Beyond

I did that a few years back during a particularly bad cold. They're amazing sick films. I hope they're just as good for you while you're healthy!

Tempting stuff. Those Original films would be totally new to me. I've never sat down and watched any original Star Trek before. Film or television. Whereas I've watched all of TNG and seen the films a couple times. And I can't remember if I watched Into Darkness or only the first reboot film. Definitely haven't seen Beyond.

Alright, beam me up Corndog. When are you going to begin this jouney (please answer in the correct federation star date format).

I have some mild interest in Khan, but I won't watch it and the first unless people tell me they're definitely good. I've never seen any of it and campy 60s shows are not really my speed.

Oh my goodness smirnoff, that avatar is a sight to behold! Glad you're up for joining! I have not seen any of the original movies, and maybe just First Contact and/or bits and pieces of the TNG, and never saw Beyond in the reboot series, so it will mostly be new discoveries for me.

As I said in my original post, it won't be until April, after the Westerns group marathon is over. I thought it'd be a nice short break from Westerns after a rather intensive month within the genre. We can pace it however you'd like. With 13 movies, perhaps we plan for 1/week or thereabouts? We can discuss that closer to beginning the journey though, especially if more people join the party!
