Wolverine really was that bad... This weekend saw the effects of Gavin Hood and Brett Ratner's "legacy" overshadow a once venerable franchise.  Ok, that’s not really fair - there are plenty of other reasons why First Class faltered, taking a mere six hundred K more than the first installment (which opened in 11 years ago).  That’s some significant shrinkage (audience wise).  There weren't really any stars in this film to sell people on and the ads made it look like a bland storyless comic actioner.  There's also the question of Super Hero fatigue.  Green Lantern and Captain America might be able to save the world but a shield and a ring won’t provide much protection from a hostile audience, weary of powered-up panel protagonists.

Speaking of super… lets get week 5 on!

Yeah, saw that this morning. So dumb. We should just do Friday-Sunday as per usual, I reckon, if those numbers will be up. If not we should guess the release this weekend that matters...Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer!
