I didn't know we could dictate partially animated movies!

This should be its own dictation category sometime.

BTW tiny, great dictation, I love the Secret of NIMH.

Thanks, ses. I kind of had to fall back on my 80s childhood after THATguy had seen the more trendy stuff I threw at him. It was between NIMH & The Last Unicorn, which I remember being obsessed with in Kindergarten, but which I also probably haven't seen in almost 20 years. Anyone? The Last Unicorn?

Sound good Colleen?  I'll add it to the list.

I received the book of The Last Unicorn for Christmas (like two years ago) but have struggled to get more than a third into it.  The film version is special, but NIMH is much better, I think.  Plus, I actually made it through that book (and its sequel!).

Sometime about a year ago I had an opportunity to watch one of my favorites from my teen years, The Last Unicorn.

I was gravely disappointed.  Another wonderful memory shot to limbo.  The soundtrack by America was still okay.  And the original book by Peter Beagle is awesome.  But the animation and voice acting was... less than stellar.

Thanks, pixote and steve. It sounds like I made the right NIMH vs. The Last Unicorn decision.

stevekimes will be watching Don Knotts triumph

This should be a triple dictation along with Pete's Dragon and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

I didn't know we could dictate partially animated movies!

Pete's Dragon is amazing.

are partially animated ok. i thought of pete's dragon but i don't consifer it anoimated because only one character is animated. limpet is fully animated when it is animated.
