Writer's Club Discussion

Here's the basic idea:

Post a writing of yours.  If it's too long, just post a link to it.  As many of the rest of us in the club will read your writing and try to positively critique it.  This means that we intend to help improve your writing, not to judge it.

We can only critique from our point of view, and points of view may differ.  So if we don't like a critique of our writing, we should just shrug it off, not take it personally.

Should we agree to each post something monthly?  That would give us a monthly post.  We could sign up each month for it.

Any other ideas or suggestions for guidelines?

I'm totally on board.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

I have a thing I wrote a while ago that I like but could probably use some work. I'm in.

Let's make this sticky for awhile so that everyone will see it then we can decide if it needs a different status.  Great idea, steve.

I don't know if I'd ever write anything, but I think it's a great idea.

I should do this. I'd particularly like this if there was some kind of accountability where we had to post something ever week.

Then I might actually start getting all these ideas in my head down.

I think something like this is probably a good idea, but I don't think I could keep up.

I'm certainly willing to contribute by commenting on others, even if I don't do any/much writing myself, if that's okay.

It doesn't have to be every week. It could be more like every month.

I don't think I would want to make a time commitment of any kind right now, but I will probably sign up in the future.
