Great start to the list.

I'm pretty sure this was roujin's favorite film.

Are you doing these in any particular order? Least to most votes in the top 50, or is it just random?

I probably owe Almost Famous another viewing (maybe the bootleg cut version which I've not seen). I definitely enjoyed it when I saw it and though I'm not sure I'd seriously consider it for my own list I have no problem with its inclusion.

Of course given 'Noke's work with the quotes I'm wondering if I've ever said anything poignant about any of the films.

However, I am really not quite sure what to say about Almost Famous. I watched it back when it came out, and liked it well enough, but since then, I have forgotten most of it and filed it away under "that film Adam loves so much"... However, roujin's quote gave me serious pause (even more so than the fact that it made this list, I guess), so I am thinking a rewatch is in order.

My feelings exactly.
And mine.

What's the general opinion of the bootleg cut? Is it preferred?

I advise anyone who asks that question to read this.  The Bootleg Cut is my #16 of the Decade.

I didn't think anything substantial was added to the bootleg cut.
