There are films I need to rewatch then there are films that I really don't care to rewatch. This is one of the latter.

Seems Memento was my #49 - meaning instead of double voting one of my negative that may have been sitting on the line I only singularly voted against them... shame.

This is why Memento, Spirited Away and Shaun of the Dead are there, don't know about the others.

Once

This film bubbles it's so joyous.  The bittersweet nature of it really hit home with me, and the music is incredible.

Terribly sweet and sometimes beautiful.

Quote from: Dave the Viewer
The music is beautiful, but what truly makes this film so great is the chemistry and performance of the 2 leads. You feel so much for them both.

Quote from: Emiliana
I loved it. What can I say that hasn't already been said? The music is fantastic, I fell in love with the characters, and the story couldn't and shouldn't have unfolded and ended any other way.

Quote from: Clovis8
I have seen it about 15 times now and it literally gives me chills every single time they sing falling slowly. It is a top 10 all time film moment.

5/9. Batting over .500 now.

I recently rewatched this and it improved in my opinion. Initially I thought it was an incredible soundtrack with an okay film around it. Having gotten so in touch with the songs in the subsequent couple years, it made the ties between the music and the story stronger and made the relationship that much more powerful.
