I have a filmspotting confession....never saw stardust.

BTTF is great choice....what a fun movie.  I think where the wild things are is quite a provocative movie.  Great stuff.  Thanks!

Jim

WTWTA was the first one I thought of too.  Second Hand Lions is great.  Also consider Finding Neverland.

I have not seen Fantastic Mr. Fox.   Doe the Wes Anderson/Roald Dahl combo result in interested adults?

I'd say yes. It's very sophisticated.

Just saw "Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison".  (Love me some Robert Michum).  Great movie, maybe too slow for kids.

The most well liked backyard BBQ/Movie Screenings I've thrown were Point Break and The 'Burbs.  I also humbly submit a little film called Ghost Mother F'n Busters.

For a current release try How To Train Your Dragon. For more kiddie fun, although adults should enjoy the silliness, try Spy Kids.
